Procurement Planning Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing and logistics strategies to meet the organization's operational objectives.
• Analyze demand for materials and resources and plan purchasing activities based on forecasts and needs of the organization.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure best value for the organization.
• Coordinate transportation and distribution of materials and resources to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage inventory to minimize excess supplies and prevent shortages.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to purchasing and logistics.
• Report on purchasing and logistics performance and identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including production, finance and sales to ensure seamless alignment of purchasing and logistics activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or similar field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in procurement, planning or logistics, preferably in a similar role.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain management software and tools.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
